The Epilepsy Foundation of Florida provides a wide-range of services to the 360,000 Floridians living with epilepsy.  Many of our most needy clients can not hold steady work due to their seizures and are often living at or below the poverty level.  For these clients, the Epilepsy Foundation tries to provide assistance that makes their life a little better.

The following items for clients would be of tremendous help:

  • Gift cards from Wal-Mart, Target, Publix, Winn-Dixie, CVS and other pharmacies to assist with the purchase of emergency anti-epileptic medication for clients.

  • Gas Cards or Bus Passes to assist clients go to medical appointments or even to be able to get to work.

  • Gift cards to grocery stores to ease the pressure of providing food for clients and their families.

  • Personal hygiene items for low income clients.

  • Funds to purchase medic alert bracelets with a USB drive built-in for easy access by medical personnel.   These can be purchased in bulk for as low as $8-$10 each for a 2 GB size.

  • School supplies for kids for both clients and for presentations.

Donations of basic office supplies would also be useful:

  • Copier paper

  • Color copier

  • Gas cards

  • Bubble envelopes and books or rolls of stamps

  • Pencils and pens to giveaway at epilepsy awareness presentations

  • Office Depot gift cards to purchase office supplies
