The Pantry of Broward serves seniors in need on low fixed incomes, and grandparents raising their grandchildren, throughout Broward County, South Florida. The Pantry of Broward provides a monthly box of well balanced and nutritional food items (approximately 55lbs plus produce and breads), as well as training in menu planning, nutrition and budget counseling, assistance with utility bills, eye glasses, hearing aids, legal aid, financial literacy, food stamps applications, transportation assistance, advocacy, and referrals and links to other agencies.

The following items would help us:

• In order to keep our clients, volunteers and staff safe we are in need of a new security gate.
• New cardboard boxes (size 12”X12”X18”) for packing food items to be delivered to our clients
• Bags to pack produce for delivery to clients
• Packing tape
• New children’s beds
• Senior bus passes
• Coupons/ vouchers for daycare/ afterschool care
